CAD Drafting
The current manufacturing trend is to switch from hand-drawn drafting to computer-aided design technology. However, most agree that learning, "the basics" in drafting is best achieved by the proven method of using standard drafting equipment at a drawing table. Once the basic concepts are perfected by hand, the CAD training is started. At the Area Career Center the drafting lab is well equipped with the latest drafting supplies and equipment as well as CAD hard and software. Most students find it easy and fun to make this transition.
