Computer Integrated Machining

COMPUTER INTEGRATED MACHINING is a two-year program devoted to the theory and science of the machinist’s trade, which includes the development of skills in the use of conventional machine tools such as lathes, mills, saws, drills, and grinding machines. Experiences in programming computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines and basic metallurgy will also be included. Students who complete this course sequence will be eligible for articulated credit at Black Hawk College. Lab fee required. Safety glasses required.

In addition, students are expected to provide adequate work clothes, but they are not required to purchase specific items of clothing.
