Diesel Mechanics/Technician Internship is a one-year course designed to provide students with work-based training as a dieselmechanic/technician. The course is specifically targeted for studentswho have successfully demonstrated aptitudes and abilities in auto mechanics butprefer to specialize in diesel-powered equipment. Interns will be placed at service shops in the Quad City area. Students who successfully complete the course will have the opportunity to continue training for certification at Scott Community College.
