UTHS Panthers

Welcome to the United Township High School's track page.

The UTHS track team is a group of highly respectful individuals with superior skills and remarkable talent on and off the track. The track team here is determined and highly motivated to be the best they can be. At United Township we pride ourselves to go out, compete, and most importantly, have fun. The coaching staff is mostly volunteers that love the sport, and love helping out all the UT athletes here to be their best.

The United Township track team starts their seasons off with some varsity conditioning that better prepares our athletes for the upcoming season. Once all return back to school after the winter intersession, the UT track team begins their indoor season. The indoor season begins with two warm-up track meets, that are just practice for any beginners to get use to the track meet functions. The functioning of the track meets to our first-time athletes is an experience that helps them choose to stay with the team, or not.

The track field at Soule Bowl is where UT track athletes meet for their exciting outdoor season. The track team trains hard and long for preparations to the first major outdoor meet. The Shipley Relays is one of the most exciting meets, held at the Moline Maroons field, the UT's rivals. The track team has several athletes that show great promise for the seasons ahead.

The UTHS track team is always looking for new athletes to join. If you have any questions about the track team, please talk to head coach, Bob Feller or Andrew Round.
