Distance
The United Township distance crew is one of the greatest distance groups in the Quad City area. With a current record holder still running for us, many more exceptional athletes are in-store for the 2009-2010 season. Most of the UTHS distance crew start their season early with cross country. The stars of the distance crew for the track team, are usually big stars on the cross country team as well. Two great cross country stars that are also on the track team happen to be, Cody Webster and Keith Sands. These two athletes hold track records and are very good at what they do in cross country.
Coach Wallert helps both cross country and the distance crew before and during the seaseon. They have their specialized training tactics that help them become the fiercest distance team around. The distance crew here at United Township High School will comtinue their pursuit on anyone who thinks they can out-run the team that has both speed and endurance.
