GENERAL INFORMATION:

Picture day is here again! Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, October 1 for all new students, any retakes or make ups for current students and staff, and seniors who are unable to visit the Photographic Arts studio by October 11. The photographers will be in the auditorium from 7:30am- 1:15. Students will not be called out of their English class for pictures, so they need to go before school, during lunch or anytime available in between.  Make sure you get down there so you can be included in the 2019-2020 yearbook.

Today's Homecoming activities are:

     - Lunch Activity - Karaoke! It will be $1 per song per person and will take place in the auditorium!

     -Night activity - Movie Night! We will be watching the new Aladdin! It will start promptly at 7pm and take place in the auditorium. Admission will be 5 cans to get in. 

Tomorrow's Homecoming Activities are:

     -Dress Day - Class t-shirt day

     - Lunch activity - apple eating contest

     - Night activity - Powder Puff football at 7pm at the soccer fields. Admission will be 5 cans.

Homecoming shirts are ready for pick-up! Please get them during lunch in the commons!

Homecoming tickets are on sale during lunch in the commons!

Voting for Homecoming King & Queen is up and running on our UT website! The whole school is able to vote! Voting will end on Thursday at 3pm! 

Last night, the winner of our volleyball tournament and free tickets to Homecoming were the team members of Chin Star! Great job you guys! 

Are you registered to vote? Get registered on National Voter Registration Day, TODAY Tuesday, September 24. Bring two forms of ID to lunch and we will help you get registered. You must be a U.S. citizen, turn 18 by November 3, 2020, and be an Illinois resident for the past 30 days to register. Remember: YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE

European Trip Openings

Have you always wanted to go to Berlin? Are you interested in visiting Auschwitz concentration camp? Want to experience the old world charm of Budapest? We have two spots open on our Eastern European trip this June. This makes a once in a life time graduation gift! If you are interested please stop by Mrs. Monson's room, 223E and pick up some information. These spots are open for a limited time.

All students interested in the YMCA Youth and Government club: The date for the kick-off meeting HAS CHANGED. We will now be meeting today TUESDAY, September 24 at 3:30 p.m. at the YMCA's Spirit, Mind and Body Center. Transportation is available. Please see Ms. Eisenband in Room 216S for details. 

Come to FCA this Wednesday 7am in girl’s gym!  Everyone is welcome!  We will be having a surprise guest speaker...come to find out who it is! Donuts provided

Foster’s Voice meeting Thursday at 7 am in the girls gym. There will be a quest speaker and donuts!

GUIDANCE

Attention senior students who were given information regarding the STRIVE scholarship - if you are interested you must return your signed commitment form to Mrs. Drish in the counseling office by Wednesday, October 2nd.
