Picture day is here again! Pictures will be taken today Tuesday, October 1 for all new students, any retakes or make ups for current students and staff, and seniors who are unable to visit the Photographic Arts studio by October 11. The photographers will be in the auditorium from 7:30am- 1:15. Students will not be called out of their English class for pictures, so they need to go before school, during lunch or anytime available in between. Make sure you get down there so you can be included in the 2019-2020 yearbook.
Our October selection for Book Club is Good Omens. Pick up a copy in the library and find out all about Book club meets on the final Tuesday of each month in the library after school. You do not need to be a member of book club to check out the book and read it! You can read the book and stop by the library any time throughout the month to share your thoughts if you are unable to attend the meeting. All students and staff are welcome!
The Fall Choir Concert is today Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7pm at the Quad City Music Guild Theatre. The public is invited and admission is free.
The library is offering students a chance to wipe the slate clean with ‘Food for Fines’.
Students may bring in non-perishable food items and the library will waive late fines from their library card.
Each food item equals $1 in fines! This offer is good for late fines only, food items may not be used for lost items.

Attention senior students who were given information regarding the STRIVE scholarship - if you are interested you must return your signed commitment form to Mrs. Drish in the counseling office by Wednesday, October 2nd.

The Student Hunger Drive is around the corner. There will be a Student Council Meeting in the auditorium on Friday at 7:30 a.m. Please be there so we can decide on important Hunger Drive events and dates.
There will not be an Interact Club meeting this Thursday. Anyone interested in helping with a trivia night on October 26th should stop by and see Mrs. Drish for more details.
