Upon completion of the assembly, students will dismiss to their 2nd-hour class.  There are class colors for the assembly.  Please be sure to wear your class color to show our appreciation for the Veterans we have visiting our campus.  Class colors are:

  • Seniors - white
  • Juniors - blue
  • Sophomores - white
  • Freshmen - red

Not doing anything Thursday night? Well, think again! 7pm is the fall concert for the Concert and Symphonic Bands. We will be featuring plenty of music, and will have a guest trumpet soloist, Dr. Matt Onstad, the principal trumpet player for the Quad City Symphony Orchestra! It's absolutely free. Sorry though, Mr. W will not be doing splits in a tuxedo!

- Only 5 more school days to bring in cans! Keep them coming! Student Council still has some Hunger Drive T-shirts left, so if you bring in 15 cans or more to Mrs. Demory in the counseling office, you will receive a t-shirt! Sizes are first come first serve!

We have 3 more heavy weight champs today! Zane Mills, Alexis Clevenger and Aden Baldridge each brought in over 100 cans! You will be put in the drawing for the Air Pods! Way to go!

UT is starting a winter color guard this year! There will be an audition clinic and auditions held during the week of November 12-November 16th. If you are interested in auditioning, there will be an informational meeting on Monday November 11th at 4:15 in the band room to talk about the audition process. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the meeting as well! If you have any questions or cannot make the meeting but still want to audition, talk to Mr. Wawrzynski to get the information you missed!

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  United Township High School will again be offering the paper version of the Armed Services Test, also called the ASVAB, on Wednesday November 13th.  The test will take place in the UTHS gallery at 8:15.  Just because you take the test, you are not obligated to join any of the armed services.  This test helps figure out which job you are qualified for if you decide to enlist.  Please sign up in the guidance office with the secretary, and if you have any questions please let Mr. Nelson know before the day of the test.

Seniors, 4 new Scholarships have been added to the Scholarship list in the counseling office. Please stop in and check them out.
