GENERAL INFORMATION:

Christmas is just around the corner the UTHS US Marine Corps Toys For Tots Drive ENDS THIS THURSDAY December 12th and several Quad City families are in need of your help keeping warm and putting toys under their trees. You can do your part by purchasing a new toy or donating some new or like new Winter clothing. The Marines are most in need of “Medium to Large Toys for Boys and Girls ages 6 MONTHS to 2 years and 10-12 years old. There are currently no spots available for This Thursday’s Toys For Tots Purchase at Farm & Fleet deliver toys and work night, but Mr. Burklund is taking alternates see Mr. Burklund in 259 North for a permission slip.   “The Oasis” is most in need of Winter coats for all ages, but they will accept Winter clothing for “UT Cares” and “The Oasis” will Clothing Donations will be accepted until the end of the semester but the toys deadline is Thursday December 12th. Drop off all donations in the General Office or 259 Northcash and checks accepted make checks payable to: UTHS Toys For Tots.

CLUBS:

Hey UT, Foster’s Voice will be having a meeting on Thursday at 7 am in the girl’s gym! We will be taking our yearbook picture, so wear your Foster’s Voice gear! There will be donuts!

Hey Posse: Friday night’s game is home against Galesburg! Wear your Christmas outfits and support our panther Guys!

GUIDANCE:

Seniors, 3 new Scholarships have been added to the Scholarship folder as of 11/19/19. Stop into the counseling office and check them out! 

SPORTS:

The girls’ varsity bowling team are still undefeated on the season by topping new Western Big 6 member Sterling.  Top bowlers were Regina Harmening, Ashlyn Burkeybile and Kiera Henderson.

The JV bowlers also won their match yesterday against Sterling and are also undefeated this season.  Top performers were Jenna Traynham and Jeanine Ndacayisaba and Savanna Kern."
