"Congratulations to the speech team as they had their most successful meet of the season! The team took 10 entries to the Rochelle tournament this past weekend, where 6 broke finals and many competitors had personal bests. 

- Kate Rohman broke varsity finals in oratorical declamation and placed 4th overall. She also broke next-in finals in prose reading and placed 2nd overall.

- Jayvan Fowler broke novice finals in radio speaking and placed 3rd overall. 

- Rachael Winkel broke novice finals in oratorical declamation and placed 5th overall. 

- Samantha Hofstetter broke varsity finals in poetry reading and placed 6th overall. 

- Arianna Davis broke novice finals in original oratory and placed 2nd overall
