GENERAL INFORMATION:  

Attention to all students wanting to, or have already, you MUST check your College Board account to verify that you are signed up for all Advanced Placement tests you plan to take this Spring.  Any issues with the tests you are signed up for MUST be communicated to Mr. Killam in the General Office by the end of day on Monday, October 18.  If you are undecided, sign up now.  Test removals can occur in the spring, but test additions are not allowed by College Board.

 The library is offering students a chance to wipe the slate clean with ‘Food for Fines’/

Students may bring in non-perishable food items and the library will waive late fines from their library card.

Each food item equals $1 in fines!  This offer is good for late fines only, food items may not be used for lost items.

October 20th will be Food Truck Night (sponsored by Student Council) from 4:30-7:30PM in the school parking lot. Come and enjoy some great food. 

UT and UTEC Students, Faculty and Staff: Picture retake day is scheduled for October 20. Photographic Arts will be at UT from 7:30-3:00 in the auditorium for picture retakes, make-ups, pictures for newly enrolled students, and ALL seniors who have not visited the studio. It is your responsibility to ask to go to the auditorium for the picture. Students will NOT be escorted by their English teachers like they did with the first round of pictures. To have your picture be included in the 2021-2022 yearbook, you MUST have a picture taken by October 20. Get the date added to your calendars! 

Yearbooks may be purchased in the General Office or online until March 4, 2022 for $50. Any yearbooks purchased thereafter will cost $60, and there will be a very limited amount for sale. Don't wait; get your memory keepsake ordered today!

Black Hawk College will be offering a FREE Application Week October 24-31. 

If you're considering Black Hawk College, submit you application for FREE during this week.  For more information come to the Counseling Office.

Stop by counseling to get the QR code and get a head start on ordering your cap and gown.

CLUBS:

Foster’s Voice meeting at 7:00 am Thursday October 21st in the girl’s gym. Bring a friend and come have some fun.

 "Gamer's Club will meet this Friday from 3 to 5 in the Gallery.  If you plan to ride the activities bus home, you must know your address."

SPORTS:

Attention Girls that are interested or plan on bowling the 21 – 22 Bowling team: There will be a meeting on Thursday, October 21st at 3:10pm in room 171N. The meeting will last approximately 20 minutes.  If you are unable to attend the meeting on Thursday – you can stop by Mrs. Knack’s office on Friday October 22nd or any time next week.

Any girls trying out for basketball, we will have open gym right after school Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Girls’ basketball tryouts are November 1st! Any questions see Coach Walker in gym A
