The library is offering students a chance to wipe the slate clean with ‘Food for Fines’/
Students may bring in non-perishable food items and the library will waive late fines from their library card.
Each food item equals $1 in fines! This offer is good for late fines only, food items may not be used for lost items.
October 20th will be Food Truck Night (sponsored by Student Council) from 4:30-7:30PM in the school parking lot. Come and enjoy some great food.

Black Hawk College will be offering a FREE Application Week October 24-31. If you're considering Black Hawk College, submit you application for FREE during this week. For more information come to the Counseling Office.
Attention seniors. There is one new scholarship available for students entering the STEM field. Information is in the filing cabinet in the Counseling office, but applications must be done online.
Seniors - if you are planning on attending Scott Community College they are having a FAFSA night. Wednesday October 20th from 4-6. Representatives will be there to talk to you about scholarships, grants, loans and work-study.

The Young Women's Club is honoring National Period Day today. This is a movement designed to normalize menstruation and stop the body shaming associated with it. It also is designed to bring to light the economic struggles many can have in order to pay for products. You will see some of our members in “designated” shirts today - future announcements are coming about what this means!
Attention Girls that are interested or plan on bowling the 21 – 22 Bowling team: There will be a meeting on Thursday, October 21st at 3:10pm in room 171N. The meeting will last approximately 20 minutes. If you are unable to attend the meeting on Thursday – you can stop by Mrs. Knack’s office on Friday October 22nd or any time next week.
