GENERAL INFORMATION:  


Congratulations to UTHS Special Olympics team for their bowling performance at Highland Park on Saturday. 4 students have qualified for the State bowling competition to be held Dec. 4 & 5. The state qualifies are: Bryan Moreno Sarah Waterfall Justin Miner Jacob Nolan

 

GUIDANCE:

Attention seniors. There is one new scholarship available for students entering the STEM field.  Information is in the filing cabinet in the Counseling office, but applications must be done online.  

Attention all seniors!!! It's time to think GRADUATIONS It's time to order your cap and gown with Moments with class. All orders will be placed online Stop by counseling Office to get more information and get a head start on ordering your 2022 graduation cap, gown and announcements. Early grads, December is right around the corner. Please take advantage and get your orders in.

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  United Township High School will again be offering the paper version of the Armed Services Test on Thursday November 18th.  The test will take place in room 223E at 8:15. Just because you take the test, you are not obligated to join any of the armed services.  This test helps figure out which job you are qualified for if you decide to enlist.  Please sign up in the guidance office with the secretary, and if you have any questions let Mr. Nelson

Attention seniors.  There are a lot of scholarships that opened on November 1st.  Please check out the list in your English classrooms, in the counseling office, or on the counseling google classroom.  Most applications are online, but there is additional information in the filing cabinet in the counseling office.  

CLUBS:

"There is a speech team meeting on Monday, November 1st at 3:15 in 224E. This is for everyone currently on the team or people interested in joining. The season is shaping up! Questions? Speak with Mr. Greer."

Art has the power to transform, to eliminate, to educate, inspire and motivate.  If you are an artist, want to learn to be an artist, are interested in art or just want to be part of a group that welcomes the ever changing world, then Art/Graphic Arts club is for you.  There will be an informational meeting in room 187V (ACC wing) on Tuesday November 2nd from 3:15-4.  We will discuss what the club goals are, activities and meeting dates.   If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Jackson in the ACC wing.  There will be flyers up around the school with contact information.

 

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes have joined forces with P7, a new Bible study group on campus, to offer UT students both morning and afternoon meetings to build their faith.  This week, P7 will have its kick off meeting Tuesday, Nov 2 at 3:15 in the Gallery.  Next week, FCA will host its huddle on Tuesday, November 9th at 7am in the Girl's gym.  ALL students are invited to attend. Hope to see you there! 

Youth & Government: we will be having a mandatory meeting on Wednesday 11/3 after school in 216S. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. If you can’t make it, please let Ms. E know.

"Gamer's Club will meet this Friday from 3 to 5 in the Gallery.  If you plan to ride the activities bus home, you must know your address."

SPORTS:

If you missed the meeting for the Girls Bowling team please stop in and see Mrs. Krack in GYM B girls’ locker room by Friday November 5th.

Girls’ basketball tryouts are tonight. Anyone interested in trying out needs to be there at the designated times with Juniors & Seniors coming in 3:15-5, Freshman & Sophomores 5-6:30Any questions contact Coach Walker 

Wrestling:  There will be a brief meeting today after school for all interested in wrestling this season.  Wrestlers and wrestling managers are to report to the wrestling room after school to receive information regarding the upcoming season.  
If you cannot make the meeting today, see Coach Fotos in room 205 South.  

Sophomore Boys Basketball - Attention any sophomore boy that is interested in trying out for basketball this season. There is a MANDATORY informational meeting about tryouts Wednesday, November 3rd at 4 PM after open gym in the Team Room.
