GENERAL INFORMATION:

Last day to bring in cans will be November 12th. Bring in 20 cans for a Student Hunger Drove shirt. Bring in 50 cans to be entered into a drawing for the heavyweight prizes of an Apple Watch, inflatable dinosaur costume, and gift cards.

It's time for the Panther Players winter show! The informational meeting for our winter drama, Radium Girls, is tomorrow November 9th at 3:30pm in Mr. Greer's room 224E. Theater is much more than simply being on stage. We are also looking for people to help build set, work backstage crew, and learn our tech booth. If you have an questions, or are unable to attend, email Mrs. Henderson at khenderson@uths.net

GUIDANCE:

This is a reminder that UT will be giving the ASVAB on Thursday November 18th @ 8:00. Space is limited so please sign up in the Counseling Office to reserve your spot. Any questions, see Mr. Nelson

Attention seniors.  There are a lot of scholarships that opened on November 1st.  Please check out the list in your English classrooms, in the counseling office, or on the counseling google classroom.  Most applications are online, but there is additional information in the filing cabinet in the counseling office.  

 College Visits: you must sign up in the Guidance office before attending these visits.

 CLUBS:

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes has joined forces with P7, a new Bible study group on campus, to offer UT students either a morning or afternoon meeting each week to build their faith.  This week, FCA will host its huddle on Tuesday, November 9th at 7am in the Girl's gym. We'll focus on good and bad influences and how our faith can help us better navigate life's choices. Next week, P7 will meet Tuesday, Nov 16th at 3:15 in the Gallery. ALL students are invited to attend. See Mrs. Mital or Mrs. Minard with questions.

There will be an art club meeting at 310-4 in room 187V tomorrow, Tuesday November 9th.  We will be discussing sketchbooks.  If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Jackson 

GSA meets Wednesday after school in room 206 South. We will be working on club posters. The meeting will start at 3:10 and will end at 4.

SPORTS:

Attention Panther Posse!  If you are interested in being a member of the GREATEST Student Section of all time please be at a meeting in the Auditorium next Wednesday, November 10th at 7:45 AM with Coach Webber!!  We want to get the basketball season started in style!!
