GUIDANCE:
Attention seniors. Scholarships were updated February 14th with 5 more new ones. Please take a look at the list in your English class, on the Counseling Google classroom, or stop by the counseling office. Most of the new ones will need to be picked up from the filing cabinet and returned to Mrs. Drish. Many scholarships require essays and letters of recommendation, so don't wait until the deadline to start working on them. See Mrs. Drish in the counseling office if you have any questions.
CLUBS:
All this week, Key Club is selling Yuda Bands at lunch in the student store. Each band is $10 and will go to help Rachel, a student in Zimbabwe who needs help to continue her education. Students in Zimbabwe face many obstacles, including underfunded schools, political violence, relatively low literacy, and low average time spent in school. Most of these issues are even bigger challenges for female students, which is why Key Club is eager to help Rachel reach her dreams. If we sell 150 wristbands, we can fund Rachel's education for an entire year. Come see us in the student store to buy a band and help us change a life.
Thursday Peer mentoring will meet in the Gallery 3:15-4:15.Hope to see you there. Contact Jill Sanders-Colgan if you have any questions
"Gamer's Club will meet this Friday from 3 to 5 in the Gallery. If you plan to ride the activities bus home, you must know your address."
Kick off next week right by attending the Fellowship of Christian Athletes morning huddle on Tuesday, Feb 22 at 7am in Gym A. FCA Leader Landon Slyter will share his testimony, and we'll discuss how each of us can have a personal walk with Christ that can be both challenging yet eternally rewarding. Even if you have "faith the size of mustard seed", you're invited. All students are welcome to attend.
