UTHS Students:

We are happy to announce some new Summer School opportunities this school year.  Not only will we be running our normal credit recovery options, we will be also offering opportunities to take courses for first credit.

We have a multitude of incredibly unique course offerings with various delivery methods.  These delivery methods include online, hybrid, or in person.  Please see the course offerings on UTHS.net.  Please sign up for the courses with your counselor.  The deadline to take advantage of these opportunities is May 13th.

"It's been a few years, but the student matinee of the musical is back! Next Friday, April 29th, students will have the opportunity to watch this year's musical, The Addams Family, during 7th and 8th periods. This will be counted as a field trip in Skyward. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased before school or during any lunch period at the student store. You must have bought a ticket in order to attend! Come out and support your friends (and watch some excellent theater). We hope to see you there!"

"Are you looking for a fun and interactive way to explore different career options? On Wednesday, April 27th we will be hosting a Career Fair from 2-4 in the Commons. There will be careers and companies such as a speech pathologist, Valley Construction, an analytical engineer, Kimberly Crest Veterinary Hospital, a realtor, QC Customs Tees, and much more. The Career Fair will be open to all grades, and an activity bus will be available if needed. Sign up in the counseling office to talk with over 20 professionals that are from a variety of different fields." 

CLUBS:

Got talent? The L.O.V.E. Club and Blackhawk Community College are putting on a Multicultural Talent Show on Friday April 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm located at Blackhawks Theater. Seats are limited in the theater but we have plenty of overflow rooms available and it will be live streamed. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for the talent show. Don’t have talent?  We have a cultural dress fashion show that you can participate in as well. If you are interested in showcasing your talents or being a part of the cultural fashion show please contact Ms. Ross at [email protected] . There are only 15 talent slots open so sign up quickly! This is a formal event so please come dressed to impress in your cultural or formal attire.

's Fellowship of Christian Athletes invites all students to our morning huddle Tuesday, April 26th at 7 AM in Gym A. If you are interested in joining the FCA Leadership Team next school year please attend for more information.
