UTHS Students:
We are happy to announce some new Summer School opportunities this school year. Not only will we be running our normal credit recovery options, we will be also offering opportunities to take courses for first credit.
We have a multitude of incredibly unique course offerings with various delivery methods. These delivery methods include online, hybrid, or in person. Please see the course offerings on UTHS.net. Please sign up for the courses with your counselor. The deadline to take advantage of these opportunities is May 13th.
Prom ticket sales are now on sale in the Student Store during lunch only. They are $20 each, payable by cash or check. Tickets will be sold at school Monday-Thursday this week. We are NOT selling tickets on Friday. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $25 each. All students will need their student ID to get into the dance. Just a reminder that only Juniors and Seniors can purchase tickets. Today's lunch activity for prom week is “Throwback Staff Prom Pictures”
Did you know that in 2020, nearly a third of young people named climate change as one of the top three issues that influenced their vote for president? It’s our Spring Voter Registration Drive! If you are a citizen and will be 18 by Nov 8, 2022, you can register to vote! Today through Friday, register to vote in the Commons during lunch. Bring a state-issued ID and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. Remember: Your vote is your voice!

GUIDANCE:
Attention seniors. There is a new scholarship opportunity available in the counseling office. Applications may be picked up starting Friday. Requirements for the Pat Van Bruwaene scholarship include being:
- A United Township Senior who played a varsity sport
- In good Academic Standing
- Having a significant financial need
- Plans to attend a College or University the Fall following graduation The scholarship deadline is very short, as Sr. Awards are approaching quickly. Please stop by for the application

Are you looking for a summer job? Summit Materials is looking for 10 hardworking 18 year olds to work in their fast growing concrete and asphalt company. Starting pay is $18.00 an hour and 40 hours a week. Stop by the Counseling Office for more information.
