"Give a big congratulations to the speech team as they placed 2nd this past Saturday at the Rochelle Novice Tournament. 13 out of the 19 events ranked in the final round. Notable standouts are David Hayford, who placed second in Special Occasion Speaking, Salma Martinez, who placed 2nd in Dramatic Interpretation, and Nick Rhodes, who placed 2nd in Radio Speaking. We also had two tournament champions! Melodie Hoffman placed 1st in Dramatic Interpretation, and Adelia Davila placed 1st in Original Oratory. Cheer them on as they head to Dekalb High School on December 3rd!"
