GUIDANCE:
Attention students: Thinking about joining the Armed Services? The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test (called the ASVAB) will be offered at UTHS on November 13, 2025. What is the ASVAB? It is a test used to rate your aptitude for service in the Armed Forces and to determine which specific military jobs you qualify for.
What does the ASVAB measure? The ASVAB measures your strengths and weaknesses in math, science, reading, and technical areas such as electronics, auto and shop mechanics, and assembling of objects to match you with military jobs.
How many questions are on the ASVAB? The test has about 225 questions and takes about 150 minutes. What score do I need on the ASVAB? Generally, you need a minimum score of 31 to qualify for the Armed Services. What can you do to prepare? Practice questions are available - start preparing now! Download the FREE U.S. Army ASVAB Challenge app. For more help, see your school counselor or Mr. Davis, College & Career Advisor.
