Attention students! Holiday dress-up days are coming soon. Make sure to keep an eye out for the theme days, which will take place during the last week before break — December 15th through the 19th. Get ready to show your school spirit!

Students, Grinch gram sales will take place on the 11th and 12th during all lunch periods, and in front of the auditorium, the morning of the 12th. Each Grinch gram is 2$, and students must know the second-period room # of the person they're sending it to.

GUIDANCE:

Students, the U.S. Marine Corps will be at UT today in the Commons area for all lunch periods. Want to know how the Marine Corps can help you reach your goals, stop by and visit with the representative.

The Quad Cities Community Foundation scholarships are now open. There are nearly 20 scholarships for UT seniors, so all students planning to further their education should apply. Applications are online, as well as informational sessions to help. Find the link on the Counseling Google Classroom. 

Students, the Hampton Youth Committee has two (2) volunteer opportunities for December: First - Saturday, Dec 13 from 9 - 11 a.m., the Committee will host CRAFTS WITH SANTA. This event involves games and hands-on crafts for various ages of kids. 

Second - this event takes place on Saturday, Dec 20 from 2 - 5.  The committee will present the GRINCH UNSLUMBER PARTY. Volunteers needed to babysit toddlers for 3 hours (2 - 5 p.m.). See Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor, for sign up info. 

Students, the Moline Regional Community Foundation is offering a scholarship that covers two (2) years FULL TUITION to attend Black Hawk College. Let me say that again - FREE 2 years tuition to attend Black Hawk College. See Scholarship info on Google Classroom or visit the Guidance Office or see Ms. Drish, UT counselor.

The ASVAB POST TEST INTERPRETATION (PTI) will take place on Thursday, Dec 4. Please mark your calendars to be present to review test results. If you have questions, please see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor. 

Students, the ISAC rep, Ms. Eden DeTombe, is at UTHS this morning until 11:30. If you need to begin or finalize completing the FAFSA to receive financial aid money for college, please sign up in the Guidance Office to see Ms. DeTombe. See your school counselor or Mr. Davis with questions.

Student Council will not be meeting this week; instead, we are working on fun activities for the holidays. We will see you next week!
