Attention Sophomores. This is a reminder that the ACC Career Day is today, January 22nd. During periods 1 through 4 and periods 6 through 8, all Sophomores should report directly to Gym A instead of their PE, Health, or Driver’s Ed class. Sophomores who have PE, Health, or Driver’s Ed during 5th period will receive a pass to attend the Career Day during their current lunch period and take lunch during 5th Period. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hood in the ACC office.
GUIDANCE:
LIGHTS, CAMERA, FUTURE - Fresh Films, a Quad City-based company, will be at UT on Friday, January 23, during Period 6 to meet with students interested in the film industry. Hands-on training, mentorships, and experience on REAL film sets. ALL for FREE! Sign-up is available in the Counseling Office. See Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor, with questions.

Audition and crew information for the spring musical, SHREK, can be found on the Panther Players Google Classroom! Interested students should join the classroom by either emailing Mr. Greer or using the code outside his classroom, 224E. Cast and crew applications are due by this Monday, January 26th, at 12:30 pm. Again, this is a gigantic show, and we need all sorts of people to audition and help backstage. We hope you join us!
Multicultural Club is hosting a Black History Month Door Decorating Contest. Deadline for completion is Friday, February 6. Please see the flyers around school for details. Judging will occur on February 17. Prizes will be given to second period class winners.
