Black History Month Events Next Week Sponsored by Multicultural Club, iJAG, and HOPE Club. Join us as we celebrate Black History Month with a week of themed spirit days and activities!

Monday, February 23: I Have a Dream Spirit Day - Wear your best pajamas.

Tuesday: Black Love Day - Wear black or red to show your support. Enjoy musical entertainment during 4th, 5th, and 6th period lunches.

Wednesday: Sunday Best - Dress formally, come looking your best!

Thursday: Pan-African Pride Day - Wear red, green, yellow, or black.

Friday:  Black Activism Day - Wear natural hair, fresh sneakers, BLM apparel, cultural prints, etc. Enjoy the Photo Booth in the Commons during your lunch period on this day.

It's that time of the year to make the Plunge for the Special Olympics teams and athletes. We are asking all coaches, clubs, and organizations to come out and participate. There are two ways to support. Plunge as a team or sponsor an athlete. Polar Plunge packets will be available in the general office for pickup. Please have your teams turned in by February 26th. If you have any questions, please contact Jill Sanders-Colgan.

Attention Students! It's Sadies week! Sadie’s is happening on February 21st!  Get ready for a magical night with our Winter Wonderland theme. Today will be the last day to purchase tickets in the lunch room; the prices are $13 for a single and $25 for a couple. For more details or questions, be sure to reach out to the Student Council.

Attention Freshman IJAG Students from Northeast Middle School, Friday, February 20, 2026 Morning, Mr. Looten would like to see you in the cafeteria area briefly for his quarterly check-in. He will be there from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.  Mr. Looten is excited to hear about the great changes you have made from middle school to high school.  See you there!!!

GUIDANCE:

Students, the last day to record Community Service Hours or volunteer hours is February 26. You must have earned 100 community service hours to be eligible to wear the Silver cord at graduation. Those hours need to be reported by February 26. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!!! February 26 is the deadline to submit community service hours. If you have questions, please see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor.

Seniors, interested in the University of Missouri (aka, University of Mizzou)? Have you applied or been accepted at Mizzou? Are you interested in majoring in Business at Mizzou? If so, Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor, has great news for you. The Trulaske College of Business at Mizzou has 4 exciting opportunities for Spring 2026 graduates. You must apply by March 1, 2026. See Mr. Davis for more information!

The Student Council will NOT be meeting this week. Instead, join us for fun events in celebration of Sadies Week. 

Gamers Club will meet this Friday in 149N.

The Student Council will be selling Ice cream after school on Friday, February 20th, for 3$. We hope to see you there!

P7 will be having our next meeting this Friday, February 20th, at 7:20 in 251N! Come hang out with us as we have a great lesson and some donuts! Everyone is welcome, so see you there!
