GUIDANCE:
Juniors, have you considered a future career in business? Are you interested in seeing what a career in business would look like? Live like a college student for a week, FREE, and explore your business career options at the Tippie - College of Business at the University of Iowa. You will have the opportunity to engage with current Tippie business students, staff, professors, alums, local business owners, and business professionals. To learn more about the Gateway Summer Program at the University of Iowa - Tippie - College of Business, please see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor. The Tippie Gateway Summer 2026 Program is FREE! The application is open from March 2 - April 17.
Students, the Quad City Electrical Training Center is participating in the Heavy Metal Summer Experience program by hosting a one-week camp this summer, from June 22 through June 26. The program was designed to introduce students to high-paying, zero debt career opportunities in the building trades through hands -on experiences with industry pros. Campers at the QC Electrical Training Center will learn the ins and outs of the electrical industry from experienced journeymen electricians. Students will gain valuable skills. The best part? Today, we wrap up Music in Our School Week. It's been a fun way to end the 3rd quarter, and we hope you celebrate at 3 o'clock by blasting your favorite hype tunes. Speaking of favorites, today's dress day is favorite artist day. Today at lunch, we will play a Kahoot! game.
