Seniors- Check your email for the Google Form if you would like to be on the ballot for Prom Royalty. You may only nominate yourself. Eligibility criteria: Passing 5 classes, have 5 referrals or less this semester, and have 5 days or less of unexcused/excused absences this semester. The form should be completed before April 14 at 3 pm.
Students, to attend Prom on May 9th, you must have no more than ten discipline entries in Skyward by the time you purchase a ticket. This includes period truancies and excessive tardy referrals. Please check Skyward to confirm your eligibility to attend. Guest forms are in Student Services and will be due on May 7th. Tickets will go on sale the week of May 4th.
The time to preorder a yearbook for $50 has passed, but that doesn't mean you can't still reserve a copy of this year's annual. Starting March 31, yearbooks may be purchased in the General Office for $60. We have 100 books on the reserved list, and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepaying for the book now guarantees you a yearbook in May. Act quickly, you do not want to miss out on this great opportunity!
Seniors - May 30, 2026, will be here before you know it! Seniors and families, to ensure you have all the information you need regarding graduation, please visit our Senior Information 2026 page on the uths.net website. If you ordered a cap and gown, pick up will be on Thursday, April 23, from 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM in the Hall of Values.
"Beetlejuice the Musical" is coming to the Adler Theatre, April 28-30, and the tour has recently approved a student discount. Tickets, normal starting at $48 - $88, are now $25 for any price level with a valid student ID. This offer is available only in person at the Adler Theatre Box Office (open Monday – Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM).
GUIDANCE:
Students, Teachers - get ready! On April 22nd a number of businesses and organizations will participate in the 4th Annual UTHS Career Fair from 8:00 - 10:45 in the morning. Students, remember that you need to get permission from your teachers to attend. Stay tuned - more information to follow.
Interested in pursuing training to become a Vet Tech? Muscatine Community College is inviting students to check out their program on Monday, May 11th. This is for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. More information is posted in the counseling Google Classroom. Spots are limited. If you are interested in attending, please see Mr. Davis or Mrs. Drish.

Attention, all Unified Sports members, we have many upcoming events to wrap up the year. We really need your help with volunteering to make these events successful. Make sure to check Google Classroom for more details on these upcoming events. We are also looking for new board members. If interested, please speak to Jill Sanders-Colgan.

Hello unified partners, we have Unified Regionals coming up on Sunday, April 26. We need as many volunteers as possible to make this event a success. We will be heading to Galesburg, and volunteers will help guide athletes. Please fill out the Google Form in Google Classroom. If volunteering, please arrive at UT AT 7:15 AM. Also, make sure to wear your Unified Sports T-Shirts! See Jill Sanders-Colgan for any questions.

So... you like jazz? Come out on Tuesday, April 14th, for a free concert featuring the UT Jazz Ensemble, the Black Hawk College Jazz Ensemble, and special guest the Iowa Women's Jazz Orchestra. The IWJO is a professional big band made up of women musicians from across the state of Iowa, dedicated to showcasing excellence in jazz while encouraging the participation of women and girls in the art form. Free and open to the public!
