Students, to attend Prom on May 9th, you must have no more than ten discipline entries in Skyward by the time you purchase a ticket. This includes period truancies and excessive tardy referrals. Please check Skyward to confirm your eligibility to attend. Guest forms are in Student Services and will be due on May 7th. Tickets will go on sale the week of May 4th.
The time to preorder a yearbook for $50 has passed, but that doesn't mean you can't still reserve a copy of this year's annual. Yearbooks may be purchased in the General Office for $60. We have about 50 books left on the reserved list, and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepaying for the book now guarantees you a yearbook in May. Act quickly, you do not want to miss out on this great opportunity!

GUIDANCE:
Seniors - Urgent FAFSA Update: 59% of our seniors still need to complete their FAFSA. To avoid major processing delays that could last until July, you need to file by April 25. Your future matters to us - whether it's college or trade school, do not let paperwork stand in your way. Meet with the ISAC representative, Ms. Eden DeTombe, at the Career Fair on April 22 to get it done. Let's get that completion rate up!
There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 5:30-6:00pm in the UTHS Library, for any student enrolling in dual credit classes next school year. We will discuss what dual credit is, how to enroll, and any requirements needed. The dual credit coordinators from UT and Black Hawk College will both be present. There will also be information about the new Once Click College Admit initiative from the State of Illinois for Juniors. Current Juniors have a deadline of May 22, 2026. A FAFSA Completion Workshop will follow from 6:00-7:30pm for any Senior and their parents or guardians that still need to complete the FAFSA. If you are considering attending college, trade school or a technical school you should complete the FAFSA. This year's recommended deadline is April 25, 2026 to avoid delays. The ISAC FAFSA Representative will be here to answer questions and help you complete your FAFSA. This is a good alternative if you can’t make it to the Career Fair on April 22nd.
Students, Teachers - get ready! On April 22nd, a number of businesses and organizations will participate in the 4th Annual UTHS Career Fair from 8:00 - 10:45 in the morning. Students, remember that you need to get permission from your teachers to attend. Stay tuned - more information to follow.
