Attention Students! Thursday, May 14th, is Pickleball day on the ABC countdown. Sign up for the pickleball tournament in the general office with groups of two. The tournament will take place at the UT tennis courts at 7:00 pm. Remember to bring your own equipment. See you there!
Senior students who ordered a cap and gown and missed pickup during lunches, please stop by the General Office to pick up your cap and gown. You can come before school, after school, or during your lunch period.
The time to preorder a yearbook for $50 has passed, but that doesn't mean you can't still reserve a copy of this year's annual. Yearbooks may be purchased in the General Office for $60. We have about 40 books left on the reserved list, and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepaying for the book now guarantees you a yearbook! Act quickly, you do not want to miss out on this great opportunity!
Students, the Silvis Rocket Boosters are looking for volunteers to help with their 2nd Annual Color Run race/walk on May 23rd, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. 27 volunteer spots remain. Join the H.O.P.E. Club after school today, May 13, 2026, for "Yoga-tta Try This" - A Yoga Event for Beginners with Ms. Maertens, one of the teachers and clinical instructors for our Health Sciences program. There are so many health benefits of yoga, but here are a few: improved flexibility, strength, posture, and balance, as well as reduced stress, anxiety, and pain. This event is open to students and staff. Yoga-nna wanna be there so meet us in the Wrestling Room (170N) from 3:30-4:30 pm!
The UT Vocal Music Department will present its annual Pops Concert on Tuesday, May 19th at 7 pm in the Auditorium. This concert features both UT Singers and Concert Choir, along with six special solo and duet acts. Guests will hear hits from Wicked, American Tail, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Pentatonix, and more. Come join us for our Senior Night Pops Concert on Tuesday. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
GUIDANCE:
There are a couple of new scholarships posted for seniors. They are posted in the counseling Google Classroom, or you can visit the counseling office to pick up applications.
SPORTS:
Attention all boys interested in playing basketball: there will be a brief meeting after school in the Commons on Thursday, May 21st. Please see Coach Whiteman or Coach Saey for more information.
CLUBS:
FCA will be holding a Field of Faith event on May 22 from 6 to 9 PM at the UTHS softball field. We will have food and games, and the leadership will share their personal testimonies. Bring a friend and have a good time!

This Friday, May 15th, the UT Music Department will host a special concert in collaboration with Mariachi de Glenview, Quad City Ballet Folklorico, and Ballet Folklorico de Rio Grande. You don't want to miss this special opportunity to witness the beautiful music, costumes, and dancing present on our campus. Please join UT Mariachi for this amazing musical display this Friday, at 7 pm in the Auditorium. Admission is $10/person.
Attention Students! P7 will be meeting for the last time of the year this Friday! Join us at 7:20 in 251N, for some fun games and really good snacks! Stop in and end your year off right! Can't wait to see you all!
