STUDENTS AND STAFF: PICTURE RETAKE AND MAKE-UP DAY IS OCTOBER 14 FROM 7:30 AM-2:45 PM IN THE AUDITORIUM. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ESCORTED BY THEIR ENGLISH TEACHERS THIS TIME AROUND. STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED GO ON THEIR OWN TIME DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. THIS IS YOUR LAST OPPORTUNITY TO GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN FOR THE YEARBOOK. Students! Want to know more about the Dual Credit Program? Mr. Brian Beert with Black Hawk College will be at UT on Thursday, October 15 during 2nd Period to meet with students.

The Panther Players want to welcome you back from fall break with an informational meeting about TREASURE ISLAND! Based on the masterful adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, TREASURE ISLAND is a stunning yarn of piracy on the tropical seas. At the center of it all are Jim Hawkins, a 14-year-old boy who longs for adventure, and the infamous Long John Silver, who is a complex study of good and evil, perhaps the most famous hero-villain of all time. Silver is an unscrupulous buccaneer-rogue whose greedy quest for gold, coupled with his affection for Jim, cannot help but win the heart of every soul who has ever longed for treasure and adventure. This show is a combination of humor, classic drama, and plenty of stage combat. You don't want to miss out on this!
