Students interested in volunteering to help the community? Want to earn volunteer hours to wear the Silver Cord at graduation? Well, the Silvis Rocket Boosters are getting ready for their Silvis School District Fall Craft & Vendor Fair. They are looking for volunteers.

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Northeast Junior High School

They need volunteers from 8 AM to 4 PM to help before, during, and after the event. Interested? See Ms. Colgan or Ms. Drish or Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor.

COUNSELING:

Senior students: If you have committed to joining the Armed Services (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Space Corps, Coast Guard, or the Army or Illinois Air National Guard),  please let Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor, know your intent. Principal Wright would like to recognize you at the upcoming Veteran's Day ceremony here at UTHS. Mr Davis's office is located in the Center area of the school.

CLUBS:

The next Interact Club meeting will be Wednesday, October 28th. Everyone is welcome to attend and hear about upcoming events. We will meet in Room 119C at 7:30am. This will be a very brief meeting, but also the last in person meeting for the semester so we look forward to seeing you there!

SPORTS:

UT Basketball Cheer Tryouts will be on Friday, Oct 30th. In order to try out, you will need to attend the clinics on the 28th and 29th from 3:30-5pm in Gym C or reach out to Coach Catilyn if you are unable to attend.

Attention all boys interested in playing basketball this season: there will be a brief meeting on Tuesday, October 27th, after school in the Commons. If you have questions, ask Coach Whiteman or Coach Saey.
